Top 5 Announcements From D23

D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event is going strong with suprise guests, merch, exhibits and of course...new trailers and announcements. All Disney fans have come from near and far to see new projects Disney has in store for the future.

Several trailers for upcoming movies and tv series have been announced. All from Marvel, Star Wars, Disney animation and Disney live-action. But here are my top five trailers from D23:

5. Frozen 3 (November 2027)

The sisters of Arendelle return with a new adventure awaiting. In this trailer, Anna and Kristoff are getting married, but a mysterious object and Northern Lights lead them to a new land to discover. Arriving, Anna and Elsa are ambushed by a mysterious and powerful new adversary. Her face wasn't shown, but she knew them.

This new Disney film will be too early to tell what the outcome will be, however we can count on the music to be enough. With the cast's musical talent (especially Idina Menzel's) it will be a reason to come and see this new chapter in Arendelle.

4. X-Men (May 2028)

During the X-Men panel, Sadie Sink returns as Jean Grey following her next adventure after the events of Spider-Man Brand New Day. The cast of the movie was also annouced:

• Kit Connor as Cyclops

• Samara Weaving as Emma Frost

• Christopher Abbott as Professor X

• Adam Driver as Mister Sinister

No plot has been annouced yet, but the cast could deliver a captivating performance. Only time will tell.

3. VisionQuest (October 14 2026)

Paul Bettany returns as the android Vision. In this trailer, Vision is incognito after being resurrected in WandaVision. He's unaware of who he is and goes to several AI's in order to help him guide his way. In addition, he goes on the run with a mysterious teenager who could be his reincarnated son Tommy Maximoff (Ruaridh Mollica).

This will be the final part of the trilogy. First WandaVision and followed by Agatha All Along. Now several questions remain. What will happen to this Vision? Will Tommy remember his father? Will Billy and Tommy reunite?

2. Incredibles 3 (2028)

In this panel, Pixar's Pete Docter has given the audience a glimpse of the upcoming installment in the Incredibles franchise. In the first film, it centers around Mr. Incredible. The second one puts Elastigirl in the spotlight. Now, the new movie will center around their children: Violet, Dash and Jack-Jack. Docter also announced there will be a new villain more powerful than the entire family...then Edna cut him off for revealing too much.

The Incredibles have not failed to entertain their fans over the years. Even though not enough details were given out, it's still something to look forward too.

1. Avengers: Doomsday (December 18 2026)

The long awaited movie Avengers: Doomsday will be coming this December and some of the cast have made it to the stage. Hayley Atwell as Peggy Carter, Chris Evans returns as Captain America and Doctor Doom himself....Robert Downey Jr. In the trailer, heroes gather from all over to stop the treat of Doctor Doom. Groups include the New Avengers, The Fantastic Four, the X-Men and the Wakandans.

All of these heroes old and new coming together in one movie brings the hype to an all time high. Questions and rumors have been going around, but one thing is fact is that it will become a box office success.
